Resolve Joint Winner of the HCF Building Effectiveness Programme 2018

Resolve was the joint winner of the Building Effectiveness Programme 2018 at this year’s High Sherriff’s Awards alongside Watford Workshop.

We are delighted that the judges and organisers saw that Resolve had made such progress over the last year on this incredible programme that they presented Resolve with this wonderful Award. This is the culmination of a year of hard work at all levels of Resolve – The Trustees, our Team and our wonderful Volunteers. –– Joe Heeney CEO.

2018 was an incredible year for Resolve and this Award is a wonderful confirmation of just how hard everyone worked to provide a sustainable Service that we hope will go on into the next decade supporting people from all parts of our local and wider communities.

Special Thanks go to our Advisor, Kate Belinis and Mentor Peter Bryans who helped guide us through the programme and to Will Hobhouse, who has led this programme supported by the HCF Team including Sarah Elliott, and Dawn Harris-Wallace of the Cranfield Trust who led the programme so expertly. Thank you All.

Having worked so hard over the last ten years and especially this last twelve months, Resolve is now looking forward to the next ten years and our incredible projects – Resolve’s Drug & Alcohol Day Services at Hitchin, Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield, our incredible All Year Round Night Shelter and SPARKS – “Pay What You Can” Community Cafe based at Queensway House and our wonderful work with our Partners and funders, too many to list but that includes Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, OCADO, Tesco, Hertfordshire Community Foundation, Henry Smith Charity, Big Lottery, The Wheat Quarter, all of our Borough and County Councillors and so many more.
