ReStart Resolve’s Homeless Project
Full-time Positions – Working 12 hour day shifts, as part of a rolling 3 on/3 off shift system
Starting Salary – £23,000 p.a.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with drive, motivation and commitment to join the Resolve Team delivering our expanding Homeless Project & Support Services for homeless individuals as part of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council’s approach to tackling homelessness. Competent IT skills, effective listening skills, excellent communication skills and a knowledge of homelessness, drug and alcohol harm reduction and treatment services are key requirements.
Resolve is a local registered charity providing drug & alcohol support services, supported sheltered homeless accommodation and support to homeless individuals as part of the Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council’s Housing First approach to tackling homelessness. We are looking to fill a number of positions within our Homeless Project – ReStart – as part of Resolve’s expansion of our Homeless Services and “move-on” programme. Navigators are responsible for working as part of a larger Team dedicated to ending homelessness and helping people to find long-term housing solutions appropriate to their needs.
Navigators will work as part of a combined Team delivering Resolve’s wider Homeless, Outreach and Drug & Alcohol Treatment Services. The ability to work a rolling three-on/three-off shift pattern according to the needs of the Service across the week including weekends and bank/public holidays is essential.
